The Panasonic PV-C2060 20-inch combination TV/VCR incorporates a PanaBlack picture tube to combat contrast-degrading effects of ambient light, resulting in a superior picture. This TV/VCR combo also has an FM radio with auto-scan as well as an alarm clock and a timer that can be set to shut off automatically after 90 minutes. It can also turn the Panasonic PV-C2060 on as a wake-up call.

The Panasonic PV-C2060 has a number of useful playback features, such as MTS/SAP reception, which stands for Multichannel Television Sound, a technology that allows reception of the analog stereo soundtracks offered on current films and TV broadcasts. The MTS system is capable of delivering a second audio program (SAP), which lets a TV station present programs and movies translated into another language. VCR Plus+ lets you easily record programs by keying in their respective numerical codes, found in program listings. Index search will allow you to locate specific places of your movie or taped program, while program end search is helpful for those tapes that have several shows and movies on them. Commercial skip allows you to record programs without interruption. A built-in V Chip helps parents monitor what their children are watching, and the time stamp will display the station, program, and time with the push of a button. Gold-plated audio-video outputs and inputs are conveniently located on the front panel and can be used to hook up a camcorder or video game.
